The foundation invites proposals for white papers on the mental health of youth and young adults in high school or college with a focus on the following:
Papers must draw on relevant, up-to-date research, or offer new research, and conclude with specific recommendations for policy change, opportunities for philanthropic or public investment, innovative programs, and other action that respond to the youth mental health crisis.
1. Title of the proposed paper.
2. Thesis of the paper.
3. Brief bios and CVs of the writer(s).
4. Narrative description on the topic of the paper, the issues to which it responds, background on the research being used to support the paper, and the recommendations, and a media and promotion plan for release.
5. Estimated budget.
Complete applications including all required documents and attachments will be accepted on a rolling basis in electronic form to michelle@rudermanfoundation.org but only selected applications will be invited to submit a full proposal.
